Power Jack Foundation Repair, along with its
parent company, P.J.F.R., Ltd., has been a key
player in the foundation repair business since
the early nineties. Since its inception in 1991
and subsequent incorporation in 1998, Power Jack
had been subcontracting foundation work from several
of the foundation repair companies in the Dallas-Fort
Worth area. There came a time, however, when this
arrangement no longer was feasible. The foundation
repair companies from whom Power Jack subcontracted
the work were demanding that the quality of the
workmanship be sacrificed in order to complete
more jobs in the same amount of time. For the owner
of Power Jack, Craig Powers, this was not acceptable.
He believed the customer deserved top quality repair,
regardless of how long it took, at a price that
was affordable. Therefore, he decided to offer
homeowners the same quality foundation repair sold
direct, instead of through a middleman.
